All pet foods, including hypoallergenic dog foods, must meet standards established by AAFCO to be considered “complete and balanced.” Bramble’s recipes are formulated by a board-certified veterinary nutritionist to meet (and exceed!) the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for Adult Dog Maintenance.
The Wharf is a high protein recipe with 32% protein on a dry matter basis. An independent feeding trial also showed that The Wharf’s plant-based protein is just as bioavailable as the animal protein dog food it was compared to.
