Dogs need amino acids and bioavailable nutrients, such as fat and fiber,, but their bodies do not require those nutrients to come from animal products. What matters most is a diet that is expertly formulated and tested to ensure your dog is getting the nutrients they require.
Will my dog get enough protein without meat?
Yes. An independent feeding trial proved that Bramble's plant protein is just as highly digestible as premium animal protein.. Every Bramble recipe is formulated, supplemented and tested to ensure your dog is not only getting “protein,” but also receiving the amino acids (the building blocks of protein) that they require to thrive.
My dog has food allergies. Is Bramble right for them?
Likely, yes. Bramble is free from the common pet food allergens: beef, chicken, dairy, soy, eggs, and wheat gluten. Most food allergies in dogs trace back to an animal protein, so removing it removes the trigger for most pups.
How do I switch my dog over to Bramble?
The rule of thumb is to transition to any new dog food slowly. Mix a small amount of Bramble into their current food and gradually increase the ratio over 7 to 10 days. Most dogs take to Bramble easily,but their stomach will appreciate the gradual switch.
