The Best Gifts For Dogs 2025 Edition

November 14, 2025

More often than not, when companies send you a list of holiday gift ideas, they’re receiving an affiliate commission for recommending someone else’s product. At Bramble, we always want to give you something you can trust. Here is a genuine collection of holiday gift ideas curated by our founder and CEO, Amanda, that she uses and loves without any affiliate links. Just a trusted roundup of the best gifts for dogs and dog lovers in your life so you can shop knowing that we’re not getting any kickbacks from the companies listed here.

Perfect Gifts for the Doggies

Best Dog Treats

Ok, so we’re starting with one of our own, but judging from the reviews on Amazon, pet parents agree that Bramble’s dog treats are the best! Made from organic, human-grade ingredients and free from all common pet food allergens, Bramble’s soft and chewy dog treats are like a decadent dessert, but healthy! Our holiday-themed boxes filled with one of each treat recipe make a great dog gift for the pooches on your holiday gift list!

Best Dog Beds

My dogs sleep in my bed! But I still make sure they get some time everyday on their Dog Cloud massage therapy dog bed. These beds use medically-proven massage therapy to address age-related joint and muscle pain, which at 15 and 16 years old, both of my seniors have. Even better, the outer covers are made from 40% ocean or landfill-bound plastic! I’m also a huge fan of all things made by Animals Matter, especially their orthopedic dog beds and rugs and these steps, which have helped my doggies get up and down from their human dog bed for years!

Best Chew Toys

When it comes to recommending the best chew toy, I like the Freezbone enrichment toys better than the other frozen chew toys because they come in different shapes and sizes and their dog bowl-shape has a large surface area. Freezbones are also made of rubber and completely non-toxic materials. They even have holiday themed options for Halloween and Christmas so they make a perfect gift! I fill them with homemade veggie broth or yogurt and peanut butter with some Bramble dog treats mixed in!

Best Water Bottle

This Reese + Murphy water bottle is like the Stanley Cup for pooches. They are made from stainless steel, which keeps the water cold and is preferable to plastic. The cups fit in a cup holder and has a strap for carrying. They’re a little heavier than other water bottles but I think so worth it and I just love the idea of my dog, Bryn, having her version of a Stanley!

Best Dog Toys

Call me a bit of a nerd, I am a huge fan of Nina Ottosson’s enrichment dog puzzles, which you can find on Chewy and Amazon. They come in a variety of levels from easy to hard. My dog, McGruff, loves to figure out how to get treats out of the puzzles but his favorite thing might be to chase around this tumble dog toy. These aren’t just a good gift for dogs, but also for dog owners who will appreciate having their doggies occupied for a while!

Another one of the best dog toys is the Chuckit, which I’m sure most of you know. What I love is how the Chuckit does two things at once: It enables you to throw tennis balls really far and then also retrieve the dirty tennis balls from your dogs slobbery mouths without actually having to touch the ball! A win-win, which makes this an even better dog toy for pet parents! You can also get the Park Pack bundle (photo above) from Reese and Murphy, which includes a ball launcher and water bottle!

Best Dog Collar

You can’t beat the Fi Dog Collar. As a pet parent, nothing is more gutting than seeing missing dog posts. This trackable dog collar is like iPhone’s Find My Phone for your doggy. For special occasions, I love putting a Foggy Dog bow tie on McGruff.

Best Dog Jackets

It can be tough to find clothes that fit specific dog breeds or mixed breeds. Some large dogs have short legs and long torsos, some small dogs are especially stocky and muscular. McGruff is a super mutt that looks like he’s assembled from all kinds of species. At Voyagers K9 Apparel, you can find dog jackets, tummy warmers and other cold-weather items by dog breed and even order made-to-measure clothes with their special measuring kit!

Best Gifts for Dog Lovers

For the Homebody

There’s absolutely nothing better than snuggling on the couch with our furry family members and it’s so much better with Unhide’s award-winning cozy blankets. Made from 90% recycled material, these cruelty-free blankets are so high quality and have been described like a giant bear hug. They would make such a great gift for the homebody pet lover (me!).

For the Wine and Coffee Lovers

Who wouldn’t love the opportunity to drink wine and rescue dogs? That’s exactly what you can do with Rescue Rose, a Provence-style vegan rose made from pinot noir grapes from Sonoma County. Every bottle donates a portion of proceeds to two Los Angeles-based dog rescues, I Stand With My Pack and A Purposeful Rescue. Is coffee more your drink of choice? Grounds and Hounds mission is to have great coffee fueling a greater purpose! I can’t say enough good things about how devoted to animal rescue and welfare this company is! These are the absolute perfect gifts for dog lovers who love wine and coffee!

For the Cook

If you’re shopping for a pet parent who loves to cook, I adore this Dog Treat Maker, which is kind of like a waffle maker in the shape of dog bones. I use mine for so much more than homemade dog treats, like when I make pancakes and pour extra batter into this for Bryn and McGruff! Such a fun idea for a holiday gift!

For the Obsessed Pet Parent

This year, I’m gifting myself something from Pupsentials! It will either be this sweatshirt or belt bag with embroidered pet portraits of Bryn and McGruff. I adore their whole collection!

For the Journaler

If you like a good gift that supports a farm sanctuary, then the Real Happy Farm shop is where you want to look for items like this journal and t-shirts that feature pet portraits of their rescued dogs and farm animals. Everyone who follows the Real Happy Farm family on Instagram knows it’s the most loving slice of life you can find to make you feel a little bit better every day.

For the Adventurer

This first-of-its kind functional water for dogs is a gamechanger! Pawp Water has a sip for every need including for joints, gut health and faster hydration! Grab a Pawp and take your pup with you wherever you go! We also can’t say enough good things about these Tedi’s Snacks yummy, healthy, clean ingredient snack bars for dogs. No more sad puppy eyes when you have yourself a mid-day snack and your dog might be feeling a little hungry, too! Just imagine: Fill your Reese + Murphy water bottle with some electrolyte Pawp Water, grab a Tedi’s Snacks bar, and have yourselves a great hike!

For a Traditional Holiday Gift

I love the tradition of collecting ornaments and thinking back to the memories of each one. These ornaments with hand-painted pet portraits from Etsy are a great way to make our furry family members a lasting part of the holiday tradition. These would make a perfect gift for any pet parent, but especially those who may have recently lost a beloved doggy.

Most Unique Gift

I absolutely love these memorial pet hair keychains. Designed to hold a small lock of hair, these paw-shaped keychains enable us to carry a piece of our furry family members with us even after they are gone. Some might find them a little morbid, but I think this is such a thoughtful, unique gift for pet parents.

How To Wrap the Best Gifts for Dogs

Finally, I love the added thoughtful touch of wrapping holiday gift for a dog lover in pet-themed wrapping paper from Aspen and Arlo. They have all different dog breeds, but even as the dog mom of mutts, I would love this! For my own dog gifts this year, I think I will wrap their presents in this Canelo & Co custom paper you can make by uploading a photo of your pup! That way, I’ll know which gifts are for Bryn and McGruff by the wrapping paper!

Happy shopping! Big woofs, Amanda
